Research
I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a combined Clinical Psychology Masters from the University of Wollongong. My doctoral research focused on parent-child relationships, helping parents hold sensitively guided conversations about emotional events, known in the research world as 'parent-child reminiscing'. The aim of my research was to interrupt the intergenerational transmission of mental health from parent to child.

Research has been a focus of mine alongside clinical work. I have always been fascinated by humans and why we are the way we are. Because we are shaped by our early attachments to our caregivers, I have focused on studying how generational and personal narratives are passed down, and subsequently love to work with people to heal their inner child and internal family system.
